The Unknown

The shadows of the unknown arises the greatest fear for me. It compels questions like "what if?" or "can I?" it drives doubt and uncertainty to each individual and it haunts us like an unforgiving spirit. We live in constant worry for our destiny. Education, occupation, finance, love, marriage, children, death. These things lie in God's fate for we are not prophets- it is not in our power to predict the coming of these profound events. I wonder every night and day "Who will I marry in the mere future?" or "Will I be happy?" but why are we dwelling in the future when we can enjoy each and every second of the present? Could we not find bliss in the sunshine, summer breeze, or pollination of daises? We CAN find happiness and certainty in the fully bloomed rose we set eyes on today and not the bud of yesterday or the withering rose of tomorrow. So live your life today no matter what it offers and enjoy each moment of history you can make with each second. And for right NOW screw TOMORROW.
